o how I am so thankful for the 'cleansing' of the Lord.... Purging the muck and mire of my life that I have allowed.

When we invite the Master Designer into our lives, we are also inviting change. For some, this invitation comes at or after, a time of crisis or chaos. Most people don't wake one day and say...'Hmmm, I think I'll invite Christ into my life, today!" .... It comes with purging. Releasing what we have a hold on, and what may have a hold on us.
Some would tell us to, "let go, and let God", others say, "you just have to leave it at the cross". How in the world are you to know how to do that without some good Shepherding, discipleship, relationship building, and worship teaching? EXACTLY! Purging without these elements in your life in God can be disappointing, frustrating, leaving you feeling sad.... and maybe wondering if this invitation was good idea after all.
We need to get into - and stay - in the rhythm of time spent with God, daily. When we allow Him to strengthen our frame with the purging, cleansing, fresh fall of the spirit, we are renewed each day. Bringing us into a healthy, mature, awakened walk with Him.

With a life in Christ comes challenges. Some easily managed, some frustrating and seemingly impossible! But with a commitment to worship, devotions, learning, and obedience.....we can find maturity in God and His design for us.
