Absolutely NOTHING remains the same. God calls for change.... but do WE manipulate the steps and then shout "Look what God has done for me!!" Perhaps we need to stop, RE-evaluate our steps, leave them at the footstool and step back with open hands to be truly abandoned and surrendered for His lead....

God does not stop working on our behalf because we have bad behavior - even when that looks like He is waiting for you to get yourself out of the way.
Isaiah 58vs6-9
