What powerful statements for any of us .... what a life altering billboards from Jesus!
Don't we need God to put up a billboard in front of us sometimes to get our attention and focus? Isn't His voice supposed to be the loudest in our head? Shouldn't we be giving Him the honor of who we are and what we have become, what we possess and the relationships in our lives?
As I read this beautiful daily devotional, I am brought back to reflection of this last year and some of the 'fire' that has scorched the 'me' in preparation for the honing and refining of who the 'HE' that Christ calls me to be....in my life.
Scorching and painful as it may feel, God has always got a plan for us in the journey.
"So be content with who you are, and don't put on airs. God's strong hand is on you; he'll promote you at the right time. Live carefree before God; he is most careful with you. "
1 Peter 5vs 6,7
